What’s an easy way to aid weight loss and rid your system of toxins?  A cool, refreshing glass of iced tea. Okay, maybe eight glasses. But it beats drinking eight cups of hot tea during the summer!

By now, you should know that toxins are everywhere. In the food you eat. The water and beverages (alcoholic included) you drink. The air you breathe. The buildings you walk through. And that barely scratches the surface. The ubiquitous nature of toxins is not something to run from, though. It is something we must deal with.

This is why people detox. When an excessive number of toxins builds up in your body, it can lead to physical and mental issues such as chronic fatigue, headaches, disease, and more.

You can detox your body by drinking 8 glasses of iced tea a day. But what kind?

Toxins may be invisible to the eye, but they have detrimental consequences. Your metabolism, behavior, and immune system can all be damaged. It is not because toxins just found their way into your body, either. They are typically stored in your body’s tissues and cells for days, weeks, months, and even years!

The reality of the information can feel overwhelming, but, thankfully, detoxing is a safe way to revitalize and aid your liver to eliminate toxins from your body.

What are some other benefits to detoxing?

  • Slow premature again
  • Improved quality of life
  • Increase in energy
  • Improved skin condition
  • Balanced hormonal and digestive systems
  • Mental and emotional clarity
